Long before Matt Hortobagyi knew "Producer" was an actual job title, he was already doing the work—producing videos, making music, and bringing creative ideas to life alongside his peers. That instinct laid the groundwork for a media career spanning nearly two decades.
Over the past 20 years, Matt has helped shape the regional video landscape. He co-founded and led Astrodog Media, a successful B2B video production agency, for 14 years. To further elevate local production capabilities, he also opened Tiny Horse Film Studios, bringing Waterloo Region’s first video-first cyclorama studio to market.
Matt approaches every project with a helpful, challenge-ready mindset focused entirely on what drives success. Recognizing that great media production is never a solo act, he surrounds himself with a trusted network of talented, innovative, and technical wizards—expanding capabilities to execute complex visions cleanly and effectively.
